Silas N. Juaquellie is a passionate arts advocate and the National Director of B4 Youth
Theatre Liberia, Inc., a transformative youth development organization using the performing arts to empower the next generation of Liberian leaders. Since joining the organization as an instructor in 2013, Silas has demonstrated unwavering dedication to nurturing creativity, expression, and critical thinking among young people.
Through his visionary leadership, B4 Youth Theatre has expanded its reach to impact on over 6,000 young learners across the country, amplifying youth voices and fostering social
change through theatre. Silas’s rise from instructor to National Director in 2013 after his site came first amongst five other sites. This is a testament to his deep commitment and belief in the power of storytelling as a vehicle for education, unity, and transformation.
Silas dreams of seeing B4 Youth Theatre active in all fifteen counties of Liberia, bringing
equitable access to the arts, nurturing local talent, and inspiring future change-makers in
every corner of the nation.
He earned a master’s degree in education management, Policy & Laws and several other
certificates.
